The week of appointments

This has been one rough week! 

Monday - Doctor Appointment with new PCM (in Internal Medicine)

- Were able to change migraine medication that didn't make me sick & nuts

- Found a potential new problem

Tuesday - Pulmonary Function Test

- Blew into a tube attached to a huge machine

- Results wont be for a week though no one seems to want to review them with me... :(

Wednesday - Ultrasound in Vascular Surgery

- So, the new problem that was found is the blockage of my carotid artery (no idea how much)

- 40 min of warm goo being rubbed allover my neck... yuck!

So, now what you may be wondering. Well, I have no follow-up set for my new internal medicine person (who isn't a doctor... which is a whole different story). I have a follow up with a Vascular Surgeon on June 10th. My blood test to check my cholesterol has been pushed back till September now and I am to take a fiber supplement... which is like 5 pills for only 3g or Dietary Fiber (which is NOTHING... only about 10% of daily value... for 5 pills... that is RIDICULOUS!)

So... my plan... see if Brian can get an idea from someone how my pulmonary function test went, meet with the vascular surgeon, set up an appointment with internal medicine lady when Brian can come so we can get things done. If I wasn't married to the sweetest, loving, caring doctor that I am then I would say I really REALLY REALLY hate doctors, but as Brian points out... I haven't had a doctor yet. So, I guess I just don't like the ARNP's that are treating me. Grrr
