Did you know... that I take 7 pills a day? Isn't that crazy?!
In recent pills... I have begun a new Cholesterol Pill, because as suspected the minimum dose that my Nurse Practitioner put me on did NOTHING! So, now I am on a higher dose and will be tested again the beginning of February. As many of you know I have a great aversion to needles and blood draws and that has not changed or even lessened with the large amount of blood tests I have been having. In fact about two months ago I had to have a blood test without a band around my arm and after being stabbed two-three times by the STUDENT phlebotomist, a more skilled phlebotomist came to assist and as I turned white and almost passed out they finally agreed to get it out of my hand rather then my arm. I had to be "woken up" to stop squeezing the ball and to get up and leave. Sooooo tragic! :(
In the upcoming new year, Brian and I plan to enhance our diet with a lot of foods that I am supposed to eat to help lower cholesterol naturally (although it didn't work when I was on the diet) I hope with the combination of medication it will lower.
Other then that I have been doing well. My breathing is better and my pulmonologist suggested that I try reducing to take the medication only once a day rather then two and possibly going off it in warmer weather. The reduction hasn't gone very well thus far though, so I think I will try to reduce in the warmer weather rather then now.
So, in short I am still working on things, but in high spirits and overall good health! :)
