Well, tomorrow... well I guess technically today I will be starting school. I am so nervous about it for some reason and feel as though I have been out of school so long, know no one, and feel so lost. This really has nothing to do with my TB, but just an added stress to my life.
In TB news... I was at the doctor Tuesday and was able to tell him that I am feeling much much better on the pills since the eating restrictions were removed. My next appointment will be mid-October... thankfully awhile for that! In between now and then my test results will be coming back (though I don't know if I will be getting a call from my doctor on it or not). This result will tell me if I have renal TB or not (TB in my kidney's). If the test is negative I have no idea where it could be hiding, but the meds are still necessary if it is positive then it is something easier to tell people that I have renal TB (also known as not contagious). No, I was never contagious, but if people stop to think they can see that I never was. I am not coughing out of my kidney's the last time I checked, so therefore no way to spread the disease. (TB is airborne only... before you get any other ideas...)
At the mid-October visit I will be taken off two antibiotics and will remain on only two the remaining 4 months. So... my pill count of 10 will go down to... 6 and a half. Not too shabby... my pill box will be a little less full and I will only have to be cutting one pill rather then two.
